The Infrastructure Advisory & Project Development (IA&PD) Wing of NDMA Pakistan organized an insightful seminar on 5th November 2025 at NDMA Headquarters, Islamabad.

Honorable Chairman NDMA, Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik HI(M), emphasized embedding sustainability and resilience into Pakistan’s reconstruction agenda.

The session brought together senior officials, development partners, academia, and technical experts to discuss climate-smart rebuilding strategies and resilient infrastructure planning in the post-monsoon context.

Smart and sustainable reconstruction models

Integrating resilience into urban planning and critical infrastructure

Aligning national recovery with global best practices

Chairman NDMA reiterated the need to translate the “Build Back Better” vision into actionable frameworks that ensure safer, greener, and more sustainable communities.

Through such initiatives, NDMA continues to lead national efforts in resilience-building, disaster risk reduction, and sustainable recovery.
